The Great Debate: Big Noon Kickoffs
As it stands, Ohio State football will kick off at noon on Saturday, August 30 to open the season against Texas.
There's no doubt Ohio Stadium will be roaring, but Buckeye fans are less than thrilled about the noon time slot. In fact, many fans are tired of the noon frequency as a whole.
It makes sense — Ohio State is often the best game of the day and lands Fox's Big Noon Kickoff. But I'll be the first to admit a noon game doesn't quite hit the same as playing under the lights. In fact, I'd prefer the energy of a 3:30 kickoff better as well.
Will Fox back down? Is there anything that can be done?
